The British Boarding Schools’ Workshop is a focal event in the calendar year for all those involved in working with educational agents, guardians, and international pupils and their parents.  We’re excited to be participating again and look forward to seeing many of our school partners and meeting new colleagues across the independent boarding school sector, too.  Password will have a stand in the atrium at the venue, and our Head of School Partnerships, Dr Helen Wood, will be on hand for meetings.

Our Head of HE Partnerships, Shelley Vink will be at the BALEAP PIM, Transitions and Transformations: The Key Roles of the EAP Practitioner on March 7^th, 2025. This event will focus on the evolving responsibilities of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) practitioners, exploring the vital roles we play in supporting students through academic transitions. With insightful presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities, this conference is a must for anyone involved in EAP teaching and research.

Understanding the academic potential of a multilingual learner population in the international school setting is extremely complex, since many of the tools available have not been developed and validated using comparable populations.  At the same time, academic English language proficiency is key to attainment and progress in these learners, but is often not assessed at all.  Our Head of School Partnerships, Dr Helen Wood will be in Brussels to discuss equitable approaches to admissions assessment of multilingual learners.

Our Head of School Partnerships, Dr Helen Wood, will be attending the conference and Password will have a stand in the exhibition area.   The AMCIS Annual Conference is a highlight in the calendar for admissions and marketing staff, culminating in a celebratory dinner and award ceremony aimed at recognising the hard work and achievements of school staff involved in the recruitment and retention of pupils.  We’re excited to be participating in the whole event and look forward to seeing many of our existing school partners and helping schools new(er) to recruiting in the international market understand the ways appropriate assessments for these learners can be used to support enrolment.
